I am Alana Meyer, I am based in Johannesburg, and I specialise in wedding photography. Ever since I was a little girl, I used to dream about beautiful weddings, the dresses, the shoes, the flowers, gorgeous brides and their dashing grooms, and all I wanted to do was capture those moments. Now, I’m living my dream.

I would describe myself as being a natural, emotive and elegant wedding photographer. I love the emotion of a wedding, the nervous laughter, the joyful tears, the words of encouragement and most of all the love shared between all. Love is what feeds the source of any wedding and my photographs capture those memories for you to treasure forever.

My aim is to be there with you during your whole day so that you never forget the details, those moments, the special kiss you had after his speech or the wink you got from your dad before he walked you down the aisle.

Because this day is so important, I spend time getting to know my client and if possible visiting your venue beforehand. I would like you to be as natural with me as you are with your friends and family so that I can capture your true personalities on this fabulous day and know that I will be there to capture your story.
