Western Cape Photographers

Having been blessed to have experienced my own wedding day, my main aim when I photograph weddings is to capture the joy, happiness and romance of this wonderful occasion. My work is very natural and uncontrived, I’m an observer of the day and do reportage photography. I like to make people as relaxed and unaware as possible when I’m shooting and feel that it’s very important for the bride and groom to feel comfortable with their photographer. I strive to capture as many of the details of the day which make the wedding unique to the couple, from the bride’s flowers and dress to the table set ups and guests. I work with one assistant who also shoots, concentrating on the capturing all the guests at the wedding.

I have been working as a professional photographer for over 10 years, working both in the commercial, editorial and wedding industries in London and now in Cape Town. My portraiture work has been awarded by the Association of Photographers in London and the Commonwealth Press Union. I have had wedding assignments in the UK, Switzerland, Cape Town and Zimbabwe.
