James Howard-Davies specializes in weddings and portraiture combining the unobtrusive styles of reportage and documentary with the traditional style of wedding photography. Each moment of the day requires a different approach from the photographer and each style is applied appropriately.

James Howard-Davies has been a photographer for the last 15 years. He gained his experience in various portrait studios in South Africa, the UK and the United States.

He has traveled and photographed all over the world developing his documentary style, a style that he brings to his wedding photography. He combines that with his experience in the more traditional ways of posed portraiture.

James places a high value on customer service, learning this from a great American tutor, and is also ingrained in him from his experience in working with North Americans who have the highest expectations of customer service in the world.

He believes in working closely with his clients covering every detail and is always willing to meet up as many times as needed so everybody is confident and ready for the big day.
